The evening kicks off with the fiery Navarra by Pablo de Sarasate, a dazzling duet for two violins and strings. Samuel Barber’s iconic Adagio for Strings follows, delivering deep emotional intensity, before the cello takes center stage with Popper’s lively Polonaise de Concert. Max Bruch’s heartfelt Romance for Viola and Bottesini’s electrifying Gran Duo for violin and double bass continue the journey with virtuosic solos and rich orchestral sounds.

After a short intermission, prepare to be mesmerized by Beethoven’s monumental Kreutzer Sonata, arranged for violin and strings. This masterpiece, with its dramatic shifts and lyrical beauty, promises to be an unforgettable finale to an inspiring concert.

The award-winning string ensemble is made up of highly talented young soloists between the ages of 13 and 23, bringing together musicians from over 20 nations. Unique throughout the world, the project gives high-carat young talents the opportunity to perform regularly on the world’s leading stages, enthralling audiences with their highly professional performances.

Since its founding in 2013 by violinist and pedagogue Alexander Gilman, the ensemble has established themselves as one of the leading youth orchestras worldwide. This is primarily due to their unique concept: exceptional young musicians perform as soloists with their own orchestra, accompany each other, and share their passion for music.
