Caroline Eades is a professor of Film Studies and Contemporary French Culture at the University of Maryland. She received her PhD in Film Studies from the Université de la Sorbonne Nouvelle-Paris III and has taught at the University of Grenoble, France, the University of Southern California, and the University of California at Santa Barbara.

About the Film
An intimate and epic portrait of Simone Veil, an extraordinary woman who eminently challenged and transformed her era defending a humanist message still keenly relevant today. Featuring a genuinely heartfelt performance by Elsa Zylberstein, the film follows Simone’s life story through pivotal events of the Twentieth Century, in a captivating, profoundly moving and empowering protest against hate and intolerance.
