The Peggy and Yale Gordon Center for Performing Arts is a professional, state-of-the-art entertainment venue offering a multi-disciplinary performance season of live music, dance, film, and family programs.
Considered the premier performing arts venue in Baltimore County, the Gordon is located on the campus of the Rosenbloom Owings Mills JCC, and serves as the centerpiece of the JCC’s Center for Arts & Culture, which includes youth arts education and cultural programming for adults.
Introducing our NEW lobby! The newly reimagined, renovated space features a contemporary layout with an expanded refreshment area, an 11-ft free-standing video wall, new carpeting, LED lighting, and an updated visual arts exhibition space in the Joseph & Rebecca Meyerhoff Gallery.
Our mission is to create a welcoming environment that engages, educates, entertains and expands the horizons of the Baltimore community through exploration and celebration of all types of art and Jewish culture.
The mission supports partnerships within both the Jewish community and the arts community, aimed at fostering greater cross-cultural understanding and appreciation. Furthermore, the goal is to provide meaningful opportunities for life-long learning, exploration of profound ideas, stimulating conversation and community connections.
With generous funding from the Peggy and Yale Gordon trust, the Gordon Center opened in 1995 as mainly a venue for classical music. Today, the arts center offers a multi-disciplinary performance season of live music, dance, family programs and film screenings, presenting a wide variety of local, regional, national, and international artists.
