Chords & Cadence pairs Baltimore’s own Wordsmith — rapper and musician — with classical violinist Meira Silverstein, who has shared the stage with Jay-Z, Beyoncé, and Enya. A BSO Artistic Partner since 2020, Wordsmith has spent years fusing hip-hop narration with classical and orchestral music, and this performance carries that same spirit into an intimate setting, uniting two artists who’ve each spent their careers proving genre is a starting point, not a boundary.
