About The Film
In the heart of Tel Aviv’s historic Neve Tzedek neighborhood stands an old house that operates as a shelter for youth from broken homes. Jackie, a young man who unexpectedly finds himself running the shelter, discovers that the house actually belongs to the city, and has been bought by a developer planning to build luxury apartments in its place. Together with the house’s at-risk youth and a reticent social worker, Jackie launches a relentless struggle against the municipality and developer to save the house, which, for the youth it shelters seems like their last refuge, their last lifeline.
